Fans of Paperhand Puppet Intervention will rejoice as the company returns to Forest Theatre this week for its annual bash of puppets, masks and music. Theatre Raleigh opens the cat-and-mouse thriller, “Sleuth,” and Seed Art Share is back for another round of “Moving Pieces,” this time in the Mordecai district of Raleigh.
Two youth companies take the stage this week, with One Song Productions opening it’s 80’s-themed “Much Ado About Nothing” and Cardinal Gibbons wrapping up “Detroit.”

Moving Pieces 2 (ONE NIGHT) – First Fridays: Aug. 7, Sept. 4, The Trinity House & Mordecai, Raleigh – Seed Art Share follows up with Austin and Em as they push their parents toward progress in this original mobile sequel, set in the historic Mordecai neighborhood
Much Ado About Nothing (ONE WEEK ONLY) – Aug. 6 – 9, The ArtsCenter, Carrboro – One Song Productions sets Shakespeare’s timeless classic in 1987, telling the tale of obstinate lovers duped into falling for each other inspite of themselves
