The Durham Nutcracker (ONE WEEKEND ONLY) – Dec. 4 – 6, Walltown Children’s Theatre, Durham – Walltown Children’s Theatre presents its annual spin on the holiday classic, adding song and new dances with a modern storyline
I and You (OPENING) – Dec. 4 – 20, Manbites Dog Theater, Durham – Manbites unveils a regional premiere of Lauren Gunderson’s humorous drama in which two mismatched high-schoolers plumb the mysteries of a Walt Whitman poem, unaware that a deeper mystery has brought them together
I Hate X-Mas Parties (ONE NIGHT ONLY) – Dec. 8, The Green Monkey, Raleigh – Owl Tree Theatre for the People stages four sets of monologues and improvised performances in one night, for mature audiences only
