The Museum of Durham History is holding a grand opening celebration of the Durham History Hub, October 12, 2013. The Hub is a centrally-located venue that connects residents and visitors to the history and culture of Durham in a variety of engaging, interactive ways.
Bare Theatre will present two selections from Let Them Be Heard – the narratives of Tempie Herndon Durham (played by Barbette Hunter) and Andrew Boone (played by Warren Keyes).
The day’s activites kick off with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:30 am, and Let Them Be Heard goes up at 4:00 pm.
